Since the inception of the automobiles, mankind has utilized these machines in every aspect of purpose and thrill. Though it started with transporting goods, cars evolved to mean machines, some could reach blistering high-speed and break records. When it comes to straight line, high-speed records, Bugatti is the first thing to pop-up in every enthusiast’s memory. It all started with Veyron, that came, and conquered lands with extreme speeds and big 16-cylinder engines that could chug in gallons in seconds. But Bugatti has grown to more than volant taco-speeds. The suspension is stiffers and there’s additional front wheel camber. This all-wheel-drive, 2-tonne beast is nimble and confidence inspiring.

The mechanical details, including the quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 that spools up and disappears in seconds. The engine in the Pur Sport is more engaging and involving. It’s not just the turbos spool, intakes whoosh, and the exhaust roars that are symphony to ears, but there’s more. For the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, the gear ratios have been revised, the overall gap is 15 percent closer than other Chirons. There’s a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, because manual won’t be able to handle nearly 1500-hp in a novice hand. The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is something that can be tamed by expert hands only. The Pur Sport’s speed is capped at 217-mph which is insane, yet down to Sport model’s claimed 261-mph capabilities. The weight reduction on the Chiron Pur Sport translates to neck-snapping 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire Final Edition will shell out $18 million from your bank accounts

Remember the sultry Bugatti that was presented on brand’s 110th anniversary. Yes, the $18 million price tagged Bugatti La Voiture Noire( spell that 10 times, can you?), the one-off hypercar that was presented at Geneva. Bugatti claimed it to be a design concept, just an exemplary shell with no mechanicals. But the brand was going to roll out limited units after 18-24 months of development.

Well, the wait is over. Bugatti announced the arrival of the La Voiture Noire by sharing teaser photos of the hypercar parked next to French landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The caption wrote” Past? Future? It does not matter what year this is anymore. When you want to find something so badly, it’s always Day 1 of the chase. See you on May 31st, 2021.” The $18 million hypercar will be based on Chiron, therefore it will sponsor an 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder quad-turbo engine producing 1,479 hp and 1,180 lb-ft of torque.
