Rivian has recently announced the release dates of the Rivian R1T Launch Edition adventure truck in the first week of July 2021. After almost a year of unveiling and hundreds of miles of testing, the R1T would soon debut against the recently announced Ford F-150 Lightning, the highly anticipated Tesla Cybertruck and the revived and the revived GMC Hummer EV.

Sponsored by multi-billionaire franchise Amazon, Rivian had been shifting the unveiling dates from a long time. But looks like this is it, the wait is over. The Californian based EAV manufacturer will begin with the deliveries of the Launch Edition first. The preorders for the same start from $1,000 each and the configurator would allow the buyers to create the perfect Rivian R1T to suit their liking. The consumers can choose preferred interior and exterior color, battery range, wheels, and, more recently, camping gear and accessories.

The Rivian R1T Launch Edition would also feature accessories like  a rooftop tent, a slide-out Camp Kitchen with a 1,440 watts two-burner induction cooktop, cookware set from Snow Peak, adventure gear such as the Cargo Crossbars that are compatible with a wide variety of mounts (including their rooftop tent), all-weather floor mats, and more. The brand has suggested that the R1T adventure truck would be priced at $67,500 for 300-mile range truck. In the coming future, the brand will also add a 400-mile battery pack as well as a 250+ miles option.
