If you are a young self-made millionaire or someone who was born with a silver spoon, and you have a love for cars, what supercar would you buy?

Well, in India money can eventually buy you everything, from a Lamborghini to a Ferrari, but there’s a brand that has been still out of hand. And it’s soon coming to India. It’s none other than Lotus, seven times World Champion Formula 1 team, and popular for its lightweight sports car.

With its entry in India, the iconic British automaker is likely to have two exquisite products, the Emira and the Eletre EV.

The former, Lotus Emira, is an adieu to the internal combustion engine since the brand will now be preparing for an all-electric future. The mid-engined sportscar comes with two engine options: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a supercharged 3.5-liter V-6.  The former is borrowed from Mercedes AMG and cranks out 360 hp. The supercharged V6 has been carried over from Evora GT, which in turn is a Toyota-sourced powerhouse producing 400 hp and 317 Nm of peak torque.

The Lotus Eletre EV is a high-performance electric SUV. It packs a dual-motor setup in its base configuration, which jacks the electric SUV with 603 hp, capable of sprinting to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.
